Philippine MSMEs connect with Vietnam-based investors for expansion, supply chain collaboration, and ASEAN 2026 opportunities

Day 2 of the Global Business Leaders Network (GBLN) continued its mission of fostering international cooperation and economic growth—this time through a focused session on business matching and exclusive investor engagements. The event brought together Philippine MSMEs and investors from Vietnam’s thriving coffee, cocoa, and construction industries, opening doors for strategic partnerships and regional collaboration.

The session was led by Philippine Honorary Consul General Atty. Le Thi Phung, who emphasized the importance of strengthening cross-border relationships within ASEAN. Her guidance provided participants with a clearer understanding of emerging market opportunities and the growing demand for Philippine innovation and talent.

From 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN, attendees engaged in structured deal flow activities and high-level matchmaking discussions. These meetings allowed Philippine business owners to present their capabilities, explore expansion routes, and assess potential joint ventures with Vietnam-based investors seeking new partnerships in the Philippines.

Conversations throughout the event highlighted key areas of collaboration, including:

  • Expansion of Philippine MSME products into Vietnam’s growing consumer markets

  • Supply chain and sourcing partnerships across agriculture, commodities, and construction

  • Cross-border investment opportunities aligned with ASEAN 2026 initiatives

  • Potential for long-term joint ventures supporting regional economic integration

GBLN Day 2 reinforced the organization’s commitment to connecting regional markets and creating avenues for Filipino enterprises to scale beyond local borders. With Vietnam’s strong investor interest and the Philippines’ increasing digital and economic momentum, the event served as a strategic platform for forging meaningful partnerships.

The session was held at SPACES – 34F Century Diamond Tower, Century City, Makati, providing an ideal setting for focused discussions and exclusive networking among distinguished business leaders and delegates.

As GBLN continues its multi-day program, more collaborations and partnerships are expected to emerge—paving the way for a stronger, more interconnected ASEAN business community.
